VolumeZero Furniture from Kidsonroof

We love the innovative designs of Kidsonroof who have given a whole new meaning to playing with a cardboard box. Their chic and cheerful designs have been a favourite in funky boutiques for several years now and many have emulated their designs.

VolumeZero is their new furniture range made from soft beech wood. They come flat packed and need no more than a dab of wood glue to fix them together. The furniture is finished with water based paint and lacquer. The ends of the furniture are decorated with either Japanese fabric or profile designs in contrasting colours.

I love the chunky shapes and vibrant colours. The wide set bases make them practical as well as beautiful as they will be tip-resistant (a must when you just know there will be climbing). The seat height is 26cm which is about average when compared with other toddler / pre-schooler furniture.

You can buy the range from the ever cutting edge Kids Love Design prices are in Euros and are 92 for a chair, 103.50 for a bench and 145 for a table. Delivery to the UK is between 11 & 25 Euros depending on the item. You can pre-order now and they are due to arrive in late February.
