Twitter at Bambino Goodies

May 15, 2008 by · 1 Comment

I’ve set Bambino Goodies up on Twitter where not only will you see updates pop up but I will also put in anecdotes about what I’m doing over the course of the day as I try to shrink my todo list…and then add more to it…, take care of the bambino and the house, and also run my business. Phew!

I’ll also post links to pages of websites as I read them and check out products.

I bet some of you are thinking “Er, what’s Twitter?”

Twitter is what they call a micro blogging system. Instead of posting long posts, you can only write up to 140 characters so it’s a great way to provide snapshots of what you are doing over the course of the day. Like a Facebook status but better because you can post links, random thoughts, questions, note to self, or pretty much anything you want.

I was surprised at how many mums are on there so I decided to have a go and hope over time I’ll meet more readers there. You can follow people (not in a weirdo way) so you can keep track of what they’re doing and also have conversations.

So if you Twitter, follow me…and then I’ll follow you… You can tell I’m still trying to figure out what the hell’s going on with this thing! If you want to see what I’m doing right now, look in the right hand sidebar and you’ll see a pink box with updates. You can use the two little triangles in the bottom of the box to scroll through updates.
