Three Bags Full t-shirt

Natalie writes

Merino is an increasingly popular fabric, not least because it’s a multi-tasker that works well across the seasons. It’s breathable with a silky feel, it’s lightweight, all natural, and despite it being wool, very machine washable. It’s also kind to skin because it’s non-itchy and you can wash merino less because it’s stain resistant.

Three Bags Full merino hat

Three Bags Full is a New Zealand company that specialise in merino childrenswear in simple designs. The t-shirt pictured is for boys and available in sizes from 6 months to 6 years in three colours. It’ll keep him cool during the warmer days yet warm when it’s chillier because it also acts like natural insulation. The t-shirts are £24 up to 2 years and £26 for 3 years onwards.

My favourite item is their divine baby hat which also comes in navy. It looks so cosy that I want for myself, nevermind the bambino. It’s a one size hat so as it’s in the baby section, I’d take that as 0-1. £16.

I see merino items as ‘investment’ pieces so you may not clothe your child from head to foot in it but you could choose a key item and get a good and snuggly wear out of it.
