Finding a book which guides you through the maze of pregnancy whilst keeping you sane is no easy task. I bought three or four in the end.
The Rough Guide to Pregnancy & Birth was definitely my favourite. Kaz Cooke has struck the balance between humour and weekly baby information. She shares her own accounts of being pregnant with a weekly diary entry which is very amusing. Add to that the useful information and baby development in each chapter and you have the perfect book. This book does not patronise you nor does it scare you silly with loads of doom and gloom. All in all an easy to read book with lots to keep you busy.
