October 31, 2013. 4 Comments

One of my favourite things about winter is snuggling up in a big woolly hat – bad hair days be gone! And the selection of cosy headwear for little ones is out of this world. Here are some of our favourites. Stay tuned for our pick of the best gloves and scarves and don’t forget to check out the previous instalments of our Great Autumn/Winter Coat Hunt – pramsuits, coats, wellies, coats for Mama and snowsuits – for everything you need to get you through the next few months.

Indikidual cotton knit Boris hat, £21.99, Skin & Bliss. The happiest hat in all the land.

Merino wool hood, €45, Ugly Children’s Clothing. Cool, Finnish styling.

Fleece hat, £21, Beau Loves. Animal ears never fail to look adorable.

Mini Rodini cotton bonnet, £12, The Kid Who. There’s just something about a bonnet.

Molo knitted hat, £19.99, Juicy Tots. Rainbow stripes are a sure-fire winner…

Oeuf NYC alpaca bat hat, £41.50, Scandinavian MiniMall. For that Gotham City vibe.

DUNS velour hat, £15, Love It Love It Love It. Brighten up a grey day.

Cotton knit hat, £7.95, Gap. Who can resist a cute little polar bear face?

Fleece-lined hat, £16, Boden. No complaints with an itch-free fleece lining.

Kik*Kid cotton hat, £11, Yellow Lolly. …as is a star print.

Kivat wool dinosaur balaclava, £30, Igloo Kids. Dressing up goes practical.

Barts acrylic Crookie Monster hat, £23, Alexandalexa. Friendly rather than scary.

Little Duckling wool hat, £25.50, Eeny Meeny Kids. Clever two-in-one hat and scarf design.

Talc fake fur hood, €30.10, Smallable. Soft, fluffy and oh-so-cosy.

Fake fur-lined hat, £4.99, H&M. A classic style at a wallet-friendly price – ideal for school.
