I’m sure I’ve mentioned before that combing out the bambino’s fro is a bit of a nightmare. The child has a lorra lorra hair! I have wondered how I’ll cope when it needs a trim (she tries to ward us off by crying if we touch it for too long never mind getting the comb out) and it looks like I may not have to as she can shriek like a banshee in the rather cool Tantrum Hairdressers on the Kings Road.
Moon, which is on the first floor, is for 0-7 years and it’s like bambino heaven with themed styling chairs for your child to sit in, a flat screen TV to distract them, and lots of fun decoration like a locomotive steam train that lets off real steam as it chugs its way around the entire floor, and hand painted fairies, princes, and castles on the walls that lead to the secret play area. They have a parents area for you to chill in whilst you wait
They use hand made hair products from a farm in County Durham which only use natural ingredients so they have sweet and fruity scented delights. They even have chemical free lice prevention shampoo.
It’s £18 for a haircut in the Moon section and you can even hire it for parties although I would imagine it’s quite a popular venue.
