Five friends, sixteen (!) pregnancies and one big idea: fashionable, comfortable maternity wear. Since 1997 Bellybutton have been creating maternity wear and have branched out into skincare and children’s wear too.

Wrap Dresses are the Mama to be’s best friend – flattering, stylish and enhances your gorgeous bump. The Suri dress incorporates this season’s love of deep purple into a funky organic print. Sizes 8 – 18 for £102.45.

The long length of this knitted tunic will ensure you are well covered and your bump is warm. The belt is bang on trend and the v-neck is flattering to your new and improved boobs. Sizes XS -XL for £126.28.

Oooh, now I want one of these. It reminds me of something I saw on Gok’s Fashion Fix the other day. This tunic has a tiny flower print, a collared v-neck and elastication under the boobs. Sizes 6 – 18 for £62.74.

I’ve seen a few weddings with a bump in recent years and I know the brides have struggled to find a dress they love and that loves their bump. I say: look no further than the Galina Maternity Wedding Dress. It is 100% silk and fully lined. The skirt is knee length and empire line. It has a soft tie above the bump and a neckline to flatter your shape. The soft overlay forms shear capped sleeves and is covered in pretty flowers. Now, you just need some seamed stockings and a demure veil… Sizes 8 – 18 for £197.76.

Bellybutton strive to bring you comfort and style throughout your pregnancy. Although they ship from Germany, the postage cost is merely 10 Euro (about 6 or 7 quid). There is lots more to discover on their site including a good range of work wear.
