Ingela P Arrhenius, Friends in tree

These prints by Swedish illustrator Ingela P Arrhenius are deliciously retro, with her taking her inspiration from the 50s and 60s and vintage items that she collects . Using playful, wonderfully childish (she describes them as ‘naive’) illustrations with equally playful and vibrant colours, my absolute favourite is the ‘Friends In a Tree‘ print at the top which features kids hanging out in a tree with cheeky faces, rosy cheeks and apples, and a bit of swinging by the yo-yo and the boy whilst birds and a butterfly flutter around.
