I am a huge Brio fan and I am very excited about these fabulous first train sets, which I found over at the ever delightful Luxeville.
Luxeville is one of those places where you will just want to curl up and spend money. Their product selection is fantastic and eclectic.
The My First Darling Set by Swedish brand Brio, is a starter train like no other. It has 16 pieces, and the idea is that your bambino can feed the pony wagons to Darling, the soft toy mama horse, by attaching them to her belly which has magnetic spots (are they supposed to be udders?) on it. Or…they can pull them along behind the apple and Darling becomes a tunnel. LOVE IT!
The set has: 8 tracks, 2 ramp tracks, 1 bump track, magnetic pull chord with apple, 3 pony wagons, and of course, Darling the soft mama horse.
I, I mean er, the bambino… HAS to have this! I feel my ordering finger coming out. As toys go, this is right up there on the hot list and I think that when we do our hot toy list for Christmas (I know, I know, saying the C word in July is terrible!), this will be right up there!
