I love Funktionalley, a Swedish site created to sell the best of Scandinavian and now all over Europe design. Whenever I go there, I expect to see something new, delectable, and likely expensive and this time they certainly have not disappointed with the picket fence inspired M/V Crib by Dutch design team Made by Midas.
Made to last from birth to around 3 years, this quirky looking cot is hand made from birch plywood finished in a white laquer and looks like an inverted picket fence. The ‘pickets’ are at different heights which makes for a highly unusual look and well placed stability.
The M/V Crib has been around for about a year although it seemed to be sold out of their own site and it used to be around euro 755 according to Babygadget. A lot of things change in year though as it will now set you back £1344. Surprisingly it’s a flatpack number so I just can’t see me spending this money and assembling it! But it is stunning and not everyone is as lazy as I am and there are certainly peeps out there with deeper pockets than mine!
