Mushroom and Toadstool Lamps by Heico

If you’ve gone down a ‘theme’ route and opted for a bit of a fairytale vibe or even a nature theme, you have to consider including one of these retro styled mushroom and toadstool lamps by German company Heico. Oddly, the company created the nodding Dachshund that graced the back of many a car in ‘olden times’ but let’s not dwell on that!
They’re made from durable molded resin which is basically high quality plastic and emit a warm glow in the room. Decidedly cool, super retro, and ultra kitsch, even New York Magazine declared them “The coolest night-lights on the block”. They’ve also caused the Magic Roundabout theme tune to be stuck in my head now….
£29 for the toadstools and £49 for the large mushrooms which also come in red at Little Baby Company

Does Heico not have a website? I can’t find them anywhere online. I’ve seen a very cool goose Heico lamp on your site but can’t find anyone who sells it in the UK.

They sell through a distributor into stores but not from their own site to my knowledge.
The Goose is stocked at The Beanstalk in Winchester (www.thebeanstalkonline.co.uk). The website is not yet up and running but give them a call and they can do the order over the phone. I believe they carry the whole range including the large goose as well as a smaller one (or maybe a duck – forgive my poor memory!). It was in stock when I dropped by last week.

I saw the squirrel featured in interiors magazine ‘Living Etc.’ i did a google search and found a shop which sells online the Heico animal lamps including the goose, duck, rabbit, reindeer and hedghog!

Hi, I find these lamps very original,heico does the bunny lamp and the fawn lamp as well, , I think the white bunny lamp wold be very cute for my litle ones room!
