When we received an email from a Mama looking for DEET free mosquito repellents for herself and her pre-schooler we immediately thought of eco brand Green Baby. Our reader was looking for a DEET free product as she is pregnant but as the kind of person who normally gets bitten to pieces she wanted to find something safe to use which would keep the mozzies at bay. The patches are small cushion plasters which are attached to clothing and squeezed to activate. The plasters contain a micro capsules of essential oils which are released when squeezed. As they are attached to clothing they can be used from birth. Absolutely ideal for those of you looking to avoid chemicals and stay bite free at the same time. Of course the real test is whether they were successful or not in repelling mosquitoes. After a relaxing time on holiday our Mama to be returned glowing and bite free. Of course by no means conclusive or scientific it is getting the thumbs up from our diligent testers.
