Louella toys is a definite one to have a look at when you are choosing Christmas presents for your bambinos. I came across the site when I was searching for something for Son #2′s birthday, and had a hard time deciding what not to buy! The specialise in traditional, handcrafted toys that stand the test of time – and I think they do pretty well. The quality is fantastic, and, like a lot of their range, this Airport by Plan Toys, £39 reduced from £50, is made from rubberwood trees that are now too old to produce latex – so they are recycled into fabulous toys! The wood is chemical-free, the glue is non-formaldehyde, and the dyes are non-toxic too.
The service, and delivery time, was great, and the price are very reasonable too. If Son had been Daughter, I have no doubt she would have been getting this Sweetheart Cottage dolls house, £70. Instead the budding chef will be opening this Breakfast Menu tray with wooden food, £10.50 – I am hoping it won’t be too long before he is getting me breakfast in bed for real.
