Seriously, I am surprised my hair didn’t curl into a big ‘ole fro when I felt the heat of excitement generated by my shopping palpitations when I laid eyes on these exquisite, one of kind dresses made from globally sourced vintage fabric, by US designer Lola & James.

LOLA & JAMES Embroidered A-line 3/4 Sleeve Shift Dress

Mixing silk, embroidery, hankies, vintage eyelets, and all sorts, a number of the pieces are folk art inspired and quite frankly delectable (click on the individual images to see what I mean). Of course vintage one-off’s don’t come cheap with prices ranging from £79-£89 but you can be assured that whatever special occasions she’s rocking one of these pieces at, nobody else will be showing up in it. Available at Monsters & Munchkins where as a BG reader, you get 10% off.

They have a few tops for boys which are made from vintage fabrics but you have to be into the whole rockin’ the biker look thang.

Also check out the Baby Bean Vintage dresses that I recently featured.
