Kirsty Elson Designs
As soon as I saw the Folksy shop of Kirsty Elson Designs my head was filled with seaside dreams. Her work is strongly influenced by her love of the sea and she sources the driftwood for her creations from the Cornish beaches on her doorstep. You could easily theme a whole nursery around products from her shop.
I love the Wally the Whale cushion with it’s zipper mouth for £20 (this is the second product I’ve featured this year with a zipper mouth – is Zippy making a come back?). The Deep Sea Mobile, £40, is a combination of plush sea creatures and driftwood poles. The Love Birds, £70, are just darling and would fit into any room in the house and as they are made to order you can request a colour scheme to suit your decor.
Kirsty Elson certainly knows how to breath a breath of sea air into her designs and with the nautical trends still going strong it well worth a stop by the shop to see what else she has on offer.
