Janod Work Bench & Doll House

Work Bench by Janod

I paid a visit to Lula Sapphire a couple of days ago, to go behind the scenes and see how the store that inspired me to start this blog is preparing for Christmas and became very enamoured with Janod’s beautifully crafted and hand painted work bench and dolls house. If you’re thinking about going for a big present rather than a few small items, toys like doll houses and work benches go down a treat, occupying them and created endless opportunities for role play.

janod dolls houseThe work bench, £70, has several tools and lots of nuts and bolts. If they get it when they’re 2, they’ll probably do a bit of bish, bash, bosh, but in time, their dexterity will improve and they’ll be attaching and detaching pieces left, right, and centre. Robust and beautifully decorated, I imagine these will be a hit with both boys and girls.

The doll house, £110, is another charmer. Decorated both inside and out with a deer waiting to greet the homes inhabitants, it comes with 17 pieces of furniture, with a handle built into the roof for easy moving around.

I love the workbench. We have a small Habitat version of it and it’s been a hit with my kids (and their friends). I really love this large one…and Lula Sapphire too!

I love all things Habitat and their toy range is fantastic. My daughter has the BBQ and I know someone else who has the workbench and the stall. The kids just flock around them!
