Inspiration: Fairy, Bird & Bug Wings Made From Fabric Scraps & a Pillowcase by Sisters Guild

June 24, 2011 by Natalie in Latest, Life, Make Your Own with 1 Comment

When I saw the gloriousness that is these divine wings made by the fabulous Carla at cool boutique Sisters Guild, I swooned and I’ll definitely be making some for our girls! Starting with an old white pillowcase and layering on plumes of scraps of fabric with some fabric glue followed up with a bit of stitching, me thinks these are well worth the effort. Play with colours and textures for something less girlie or more bug-ish.

Absolutely gorgeous! I’m completely craft inept, but her steps make me think MAYBE I can try this one… maybe. or they can just sell it in their shop and i’ll buy instead! :)
