Inspiration: Garden Chalk Wall

| June 23, 2010 | 4 Comments

Love this idea of using up left over chalk board paint and an old piece of plywood to create an outdoor chalkboard. Kat from Slugs on the Refrigerator took advantage of afternoon nap time to paint the wood which is now a seven foot movable chalk wall. This is a great idea for people like me who don’t have a patio for chalking and I love that you can move it to the best shady spot. If you want the chalks to look really bright, use a spray bottle to wet the board first. Thank you for the inspiration Kat!

You can also get magnetic undercoat then paint blackboard paint over the top ( in various colours). We have a 5ft by 6ft pink on and it makes a great notice board as we can use it to leave notes on as well as important letters using magnetic badges..
