I’ve tended to find Ikea’s kids chairs a bit bland (I have Magis Alma chairs with our Ikea Gulliver table) but they’ve certainly injected some life into them, with their Kritter range of kids chairs in bold primaries and black and er…white. £12.99 each in store at Ikea, mix and match for bold standout. Yellow is my favourite.

Oooh just a little too late for us. I bought the natural wood IKEA set and painted them … one red chair, one yellow and a turqouise table. Lots of sanding, three coats of paint and two of varnish. These would have been SO much easier!!
