My good buddy Joe Craig blogged about the Name Voyager yonks ago and I have been fascinated ever since.
This is an interactive name trend exploration graph. It has the top 1000 girls & boys names from 1880 to the present day. Unfortunately these are for the US not the UK but that doesn’t make it any less fun.
How it works: you start typing a name and the graph reacts with each letter showing you all possibilities. For example, the graph above is showing all results for Jo. From here you can keep typing or just click on the name you want to see its own graph.
You can keep yourself amused for hours with this whether you’re looking for a baby name or not.
