Dominoes is a classic and a brilliant tool when your little one is learning numbers. As well as numbers these dominoes have gorgeous animal pictures on the reverse. They come in a wooden box which will keep them safe and make for easy storage.

Latitude Enfant Soft Bowling Set
Bowling is heaps of fun and great for aim and coordination. This set from Latitude Enfant is made from bright and funky prints. They are soft but have firm bases so they are easy to stand up. Each of them has a hidden squeak so you’ll know when you tread on one!

Janod Green Spinning Top
A spinning top may not be a game per se but they are entertaining. If you get it going fast enough it will hum. ToddlerGeek recently got hold of a spinning top and was in fits of laughter once she got it going.

This is such a cool game and I’m really pleased that it is appropriate for babies from 9 months. It is a magnetic fishing game with five fun aquatic friends. You can use it in the bath or on dry land.

Plan Toys Balancing Cactus Game
A great game which will challenge both kids and parents. You each take turns to add a branch to the cactus and the first person to overbalance it loses. Definitely one of my favourites.

It may be cold and miserable outside but you can still have some fun with this great Carpet Croquet Set. It comes with everything you need to set up a game of croquet indoors. As your kids get older you can set up ever more elaborate obstacle courses to add an extra element to the game.
