Hot shop alert: The Little Legs Company

May 25, 2010 by · Leave a Comment

We’re always on the lookout for new online shopping opportunities so were delighted when we spied The Little Legs Company with its super-cute zingy orange logo featuring a toddler with a pull-along dog. The idea for the store was born when new mum Helen Cockle found she was under pressure to find new outfits for her daughter Daisy for NCT meet-ups. Hence, six coordinating capsule wardrobes (Zoo, Funky, Stripy, Classic, Cool, New) of clothing for newborn to two-year-olds that can be mixed and matched to your heart’s content, creating new looks without the constant expense.

The small-but-perfectly-formed collection features big-hitting brands such as cult US label Zutano (loving their bodysuits, top, £14.99), Brighton’s Toby Tiger and BG favourite, the ethical Green-Eyed Monster (I have my eye on this cool drum kit tee for Alfie, above, £15.50). You’ll also find accessories from Denmark’s Melton, who produce probably the best kids’ socks in the world – how great are these monkeys (£3.75)?

There’s a good range of goodies for boys and girls and you can search by brand, item or theme and create a wishlist. P&p is a reasonable £3.75, or free for orders over £40, with a complimentary wrapping service, and BG readers can get 10% off their first purchase using the code LEGS10. Clickety click…
