Hot on the high street: Next stars and rainbow pyjamas

You can’t go wrong with rainbow stripes and stars for children’s clothing, so it’s always a mystery to me why more retailers don’t trade in their pastels and teddies for these strong bright motifs. Next has clearly been keeping an eye on the higher end of the market (Molo’s rainbow and star-print designs are frequently sold out) and come up with this two-pack of mix and match pyjamas, a bargain at £14.

A further delve into the website revealed this lovely Gunila Axén-esque cloud-pattern sleeping bag for £22. Unfortunately, the cloud bed-in-a-bags are resolutely pink and blue – come on, Next, why not surprise us with orange and green versions…
