I got super excited when eagle-eyed Kat informed me that Bugaboo has gone and done a bit of a one better moment and is planning to launch a limited edition Marc Jacobs Bugaboo Chameleon. Some of you may already know about the limited edition Quinny collection by HenriK Vibskov which is going on sale at Harrods .

Black is the order of the day for this collaboration and it has ‘love Marc’ print on the main parts of the seat and carrycot. Simple, chic, but a bit too labelly for me although I suspect there are quite a few fashionistas who might semi contemplate doing a drive-by to get their hands on one… I hope they do more collaborations together maybe incorporating the mice theme he uses for his shoes for both women and kids or going a bit bolder.

There will be fifteen of these Bugaboos sold worldwide and all we know so far is that Colette (uber chic Parisienne store) will be selling 4 of them. I can only assume that London will be getting some although which store will be anybody’s guess. I would imagine they’ll be sold out before they hit the stores on November 26th. There is no pricing information available yet but my guess would be…love Marc, love the super duper hefty pricetag that goes with an exclusive, limited edition, 15 of a kind pushchair.
