While I won’t claim to be crazy about Mini Boden, I am a big fan of the coats they bring out every year in their autumn/winter collection especially for babies and toddlers as they do stylish affordable coats that work with a multitude of trends and styles. In the first of the season for our annual autumn/winter coat hunt, I’ve highlighted six favourites from the new collection.

1. Peacoat. Love this smart buy which is also available in red with it’s sweet polka dot lining. From birth to 4 years. £22-24

2. Jersey Duffle. This years incarnation sees a shaggy lining and coffee marl and French blue colourways . From birth to 4 years. £24-£26

3 & 4. The snowsuit. Another staple for when those windy, cold days kick in, I’m particularly liking the Scandi inspired flower print. Move fast with these as sizes sell out before the cold weather actually kicks in. £38

5. Snowboard jacket. A rugged buy that will fight off wind and snow there are three prints with this cool check being a winner. Unsurprisingly, stripe fanatics are already selling out the striped snowboard jacket in the smaller sizes. £48-£50 starting from age 2-3 years.

6. Funky Duffle. A staple in the Boden coat collection, this was my favourite winter coat last year with Saria easily spottable in her orange version. This years colours are pea green, fuschia, grey marl, and dusty navy. I’m very tempted to get a teen size for myself! £54-£56 starting from 1.5 years onwards

    Hi Natalie,
Everyone loves Mini Boden – but can’t really pin down why – so was interested to read your comment – why aren’t you crazy about Mini Boden?

    • Natalie says:

Hi Rebecca. I think like anything, it’s personal taste. I’m popping colours, brights and stripes, stuff that’s a little bit more unusual. Being crazy about something is akin to being wildly in love, can’t get enough of something – that’s just not me with Boden. Big fan of their coats especially their duffles. Like any mainstream brand they have highlights.
