Folk Rock Collection from Mini Moderns

March 26, 2010 by Kat · 5 Comments

We adore Mini Moderns and when we saw their up and coming collection yesterday Natalie and I were in absolute heaven. Inspired by music and with a psychedelic edge the collection has four wallpapers, coordinating cushions and brand new mugs. Pet Sounds (above) is a delicious bandstand meets woodland mash up available in harvest orange, heather / bitter chocolate and olive / powder paint blue. The badgers instantly stand out and we can see them developing into a trend….

Alice celebrates 60’s rockers, Jefferson Airplane’s ‘White Rabbit’ heroine – and also happens to be the name of the girl it was designed for. It comes in mustard (which we love) and powder paint blue. The new prints join the seriously popular c60 and Fayre’s Fair (below) which we featured last summer.

Continuing their collaborations with Clothkits The Folk Rock collection will be sold as grown up skirt kits and *squeal* fabric by the metre! I am already dreaming up some projects for these folkadelic beauties.

Great news on the fabric run! Now, how will I know when it’s available? Had a quick look at the cloth kits website, and not listed yet – any insider tips??

Absolutely love the brown version of Pet Sounds. I wish I had seen this before putting up the wooden mural in Otis and Lewis’ room, all tho saying this, it does look quite cool!

    Best,

From what I hear Folk Rock will be sold out before it even hits the shelves – I think Mini Moderns may have a riot on their hands…
