Firebox launching a baby section!

fisher-price retro classicsI got an email a few minutes ago from Firebox telling me that tomorrow, they will be launching their new baby section. Now what got me excited was the toys on the left. I bet some of you recognise these! I just reversed back twenty-seven years or so to being a preschooler!

They are the Fisher-Price Retro Classics and I used to own all three! These old school educational toys not only bring out the nostalgia feeling but also remind you of a time when toys didn’t all have batteries in them. I think it’s a fantastic idea bringing back these toys as our babies can play with toys that we did. You can pre-order these for £14.95 each

I’ve also checked out these quirky Mysterio Baby Fortune Telling T-shirts. Perfect as a gift, they come in a sealed pouch and you have no idea what your baby is going to be (each t-shirt has a future career on it) and they have different careers for boys and girls on each one.

Obviously in this age of equality, I would buy whatever colour t-shirt (pink or blue) for the baby boy or girl as girls can be property tycoons and tax inspectors too, not just air hostesses, personal shoppers, and the like!

The Mysterio Baby Fortune Telling Tees are £9.95 each.

Wow – they have a hefty mark up on those! A telephone had to be forcibly ejected from my trolley the other day in Sainsbury’s – was priced at about £5.

    I want them all…
