I almost wish I was the outdoorsy type with funky all weather gear like this! Designed by Swedish company Didriksons, they use really soft and flexible waterproof material called Proflex(R) which is a two layer laminate which has an outer layer in 100% polyurethane and an inner layer of polyester.

I don’t know what type of water situations the Swedish get into but this type of material basically means your child can withstand 4 times the amount of water pressure than the level required for this type of clothing by British Standards!
