I’m actually a huge fan of Designers Guild so I’m shocked at myself for not featuring their kids range before. The boyf’s TV blankie is from there, plus we have some pillows that are always on our bed from there and my ma has lots of stuff too!

They’re world renowned for their luxury fabrics, soft furnishings, and home accessories which are distinctive and a perfect blend of contemporary and traditional.

Their kids range has got bedlinen, throws, a new range of towels and PJ’s, rugs, cushions, and also a new range of toys.

The Kensington Gardens bedding featured starts at £57 for a single set which includes a pillow case. It features a colourful print of ponies running around in a field with little red apples printed on the reverse and manages to strike a great balance between childhood innocence and modern cool.

Vilac Musical Rodeo rocking horse

I have also fallen in love with a Vilac (fabulous French toymaker) Rodeo Rocking Horse (£55) which I haven’t seen around before. It’s in the trademark Vilac colours and looks beautifully crafted like all of their toys. It’s 50 cm tall and and is suitable from 1 year. It says it’s musical so I suspect like a number of Vilac toys it has a bell somewhere although I am doing some digging on this and shall confirm!

Oh and whilst I was on the site, I noted that they have up to 50% off a selection of their range although you need to check the individual sections as I couldn’t find a dedicated sale section.

I ordered the Vilac horse from Designers Guild as a Christmas Present for my daughter – at the time, they were offering 10% discount and free delivery…result! I ordered a few weeks ago & they said the horse was not in stock but it came a week later. I haven’t unpacked it but I think it “neighs” and makes a trotting noise…
