Boy's Check Woven Jacket in Brown from Mini Mode

Ah it’s autumn which means the leaves are changing colour and the hunt for winter coats begins. Over the next couple of weeks, we’ll be bringing you a selection of coats each day and here is the first batch with a few bargains that are still sitting in sale sections en route!

Boy’s Check Woven Jacket in Brown

(Pictured top) Taking the tweed look to modern heights, this boys jacket has lovely pocket detail on the front and an elasticated waist to keep the cold out and give it the fitted look.

Baby Fur Hooded Duffle

A staple that seems to appear in each of their autumn winter collections, it has a super snuggly fur lining and will certainly last through the season. Check in store though because they have sold out all sizes bar 3-6 months.

Girls Dress Coat by Wheat

This big winter coat by Danish brand Wheat is made from 100% cotton and insulated with isosoft insulation. It’s got a lovely check lining and piping detail on the inside of the hood and the pockets, and your little one should be able to wear it with a variety of outfits.

Available in either the rich coffee brown pictured or a dusky pink, these look so cosy and warm, I almost want it to snow right now! It zips at the back from the top of the hood to the bottom for wind proofing and the front is a little shorter than the back for easier movement.

£65 from Yellow Lolly

Polo Ralph Lauren:<br /> Tandy Beige Trench Coat

Tandy Beige Trench Coat Polo Ralph Lauren

I do love a good trench although it is more of an autumn coat than an autumn winter one. This double breasted number with tortoise shell buttons and belt detail is half price and is sizzling with style.

Now £72.50 down from £145 at Alex and Alexa but only in age 2.

Hot Tip: A hot spot for great coats for boys and girls on the high street is Zara Baby. Unfortunately they don’t sell online and their PR people don’t respond to emails either, but don’t let that get in the way of you getting a gorgeous coat. I plan to peruse their stock in a couple of days so I shall report back imminently.
