Cool iPhone Apps for Toddlers: Peekaboo Forest

| January 24, 2011 | 1 Comment

Since it was launched 2 years ago Peekaboo Barn has been played 12 million times. It is a firm favourite around these ways and regularly buys me some peace and goodwill from the kids. The latest app to join the Peekaboo series is Peekaboo Forest.

Peekaboo Forest is a little different from its predecessors Peekaboo Barn and Peekaboo Wild. The biggest difference is that it is illustrated with renowned mid-century illustrator Charley Harper’s drawings. The app plays out four different scenes where the animals hide in different locations around the screen. As with the previous apps when the come out of hiding you hear their call and a voice reading the animal’s name. I really love this app, I doubt it will be long before it tips the 12 million plays make as well.

£1.19 from the App Store.
