Sometimes I wonder if retailers read my mind because yesterday when I was in Mamas and Papas, I felt for the most part underwhelmed. Then I popped onto their website and discovered that as if sensing that parents don’t want lots of teddies and creams and cutesville, and instead might like the wow factor, along comes their soon to be on sale Loop range with the Loop highchair catching my eye.

It reminds me of the Quinny Buzz pushchair seat, with a bit of Mozzee Nest frame, and a bit of Bloom Baby. Focused on keeping up with the needs of stylish, modern living, it has an aluminium frame, an ergonomic seat, is height adjustable, tilts, rotates, and the star feet enable you to sit close or park the chair up by a table. It has the usual 5 point harness, a removable tray, and claims to be easy to clean.

Aside from the scrumptious green, it also comes in a purple, red, and black seat…and I LOVE the fact that you can also buy it with a black frame. I have my reservations about the star feet simply because they appear to be very big in the pictures. They remind me of an office chair and are a bit dominant in the pictures. But overall, at first glance, I love the look of this and if I was buying a highchair, this would be on my shortlist of possibilities because I would almost lay bets that it’ll be considerably cheaper than the Bloom Baby or the Mozzee Nest which come in between £200-£300!

I am trying to find a release date and prices but I am certainly very excited by this new addition to their range. Woohoo! Mamas and Papas is upping the style stakes!

If you’re on the hunt for a very stylish, futuristic looking highchair but don’t want to spend megabucks, you should definitely check out the Inglesina Zuma which has been a big hit.
