Natalie writes…Sleek, minimalist play furniture will always get my heart racing a little faster! The beautifully crafted Child Child Chair designed by Netherlands based Maartje Steenkamp, combines two toddler chairs and a table.
The genius of the design lends itself perfectly to families where you have two children of disparate sizes to come together and sit, play, eat, or even play hide and seek together. It won the Dutch ELLE interior design award in 2007 which adds a serious level of kudos too.
Using ethically sourced wood with a fir finish and coated in ecological transparent matte varnish, it is available in the natural wood pictured top, white, army green, or red, although in the UK it only seems to be available in the natural wood at Little Catwalk for £267.50. It will also set you back 65 euro for delivery.
