I’m a tad partial to pretend play kitchen’s and when one finally makes one into the house (the boyf has put his big foot down and said the bambino must wait till she’s three…killjoy…), I will probably play with it just as much! Until then it’s lusting research, and Great Little Trading Co (GLTC) have come up trumps with these crafted in the UK delights, their Chelsea range. You can purchase the stove, washing machine, and sink unit together for £170 or as separate pieces for £65 each. No plastic, lurid pinks, or branding, instead the craftsmen have focused on quality and attention to detail, with turning nobs, a grooved out hob, and a shelf in each unit for storing the vital pretend play bits, plus carry handles on the side, amongst other highlights.

We highly recommend Ikea’s Duktig range (featured here) of pretend play kitchen accessories that are like mini’s of their adult product and super cheap!

My Neice has this set and they are fantastic. Not that I play with it when I go round to see my Sister and the children are all asleep…
