charlie caterpillar rocking animal from mamas and papas

Brenda writes…

I am on the look out for a rocker for my godson so forgive me for checking them out with you. This one by Mamas and Papas is a more commercially styled one but it’s not badly priced as rocking ‘horses’ go.

Charlie Caterpillar is brightly coloured and softly padded, with rattles and squeakers in his feet. If you press his antennae they activate fun phrases and melodies.

It’s built on a solid wooden frame, with handgrips and footrests for extra safety.

Suitable from 9+ months.

I don’t think this will be the gift though as I think I would prefer it if the colours were bolder.

Available from Kiddisave for £44.99. It’s normally £50 if you buy it from Mamas and Papas.

I have “Stanley Snail” from Mamma & Pappas. We would probably have gone for something different, but my daughter (8 months at the time), squealed with delight when she saw him (it?), and continues to love him still. I like him better than the catterpillar as the cushion has side supports, to help little ones stay on a bit earlier.
