Yesterday Kat (who also took the photos), Saria ‘the bambino’, and I visited Bubble the kids fashion trade show. While as always, we will be showing off our many great finds over the coming days, weeks, and months, here are just a few of my many favourites from the show.

isossy children isossy children

Super hot new childrenswear label Isossy Children was the first stand I made a beeline for as they have answered my prayers for stunning contemporary clothing featuring limited edition African prints and Asian textiles. A vibrant collection, there’s dresses, skirts, jumpsuits, jackets, tops, and aprons, and yes there will be a boys collection coming soon, and no, they don’t do adult sizes!

It seems that walking through Angel and onto the Tube with my name badge on pays off as I bumped into a BG reader on the train who had just visited Bubble and has launched her own limited edition collection of clothing, Dandy Dodo. Popping colours and prints, edgy cuts and style, and some clever twists for boys – I’m loving it a lot!

I could become obsessed with Dutch label 4FunkyFlavours – popping brights, winning prints (hello donkeys!), and a seventies vibe that tugs at my retro loving tendencies. Aside from amazing rompers, there’s fabulous dresses, tops, trousers, shorts.

bergstein wellies
We’re a bit partial to wellies at BG and absolutely love Netherlands based Bergstein’s colour injection on a classic style.

Saria and raggedy Lola had a great time romping around on the Marimekko Fatboy beanbags…and on the floor.

whale raincoat by oobi baby
Absolutely loving this whale print raincoat (we reckon whales are a hot trend) with Aussie brand Oobi Baby’s trademark style of big button contrast. Due out in August.

boys & girls

Watch out for East End kidswear brand Boys&Girls. Lots of primary colours and urban inspired statement tees on 100% organic cotton. Launching next Spring – we say hurry up!

We’re seriously loving Angels Face pettiskirts!

250 ej sikke lej at Bubble

Ej sikke lej continue to deliver stripes, quirky prints, and accessible edgy style – loving the symmetry on the dress and the winning combo of peach and purple.

As always, much to love about Dandy Star especially their romper suits (top left).

If you ever need a smart, well priced, vintage design classic for your little one’s bum, your first and only stop should be Molly Meg.

belle and boo bubble

Belle and Boo continue to charm with their nostalgic clothing for girls – I’ve already made a mental note to nab the cornflower blue blossom print dress.

Hatley are doing a fine line in birds, butterflies, and bold contrast.
