Belle & Boo and the Birthday Surprise (Orchard RRP £10.99) is the first full length Belle & Boo book from illustrator Mandy Sutcliffe.

Since Belle & Boo first skipped into out lives more than five years ago we have been captivated by their antics in Mandy’s illustrations. Now you can go on a little adventure with them as they prepare for a very special birthday.

As we had hoped of this book, the story is gentle and charming with some giggles along the way. It has become a bedtime staple in our house and all the more loved as it is about birthdays and we know birthdays are the best. The illustrations are every bit as beautiful and even more detailed than the prints.

We love it and we are excited to see what happens next.
