It seems that people learn the life lesson of ‘Your name’s not down, you’re not comin’ in’ pretty early these days with events like Baby Loves Disco, an afternoon party for kids aged 6 months to 7 years.
I have been hearing about Baby Loves Disco for a while and when a friend said she was going and told me that they were all sold out, my curiosity was peaked. They have Heart FM dj’s spinning the tunes plus Organix yummy treats, and play corners with toys and other action when the kids get knackered from dancing, or want to mingle.
Back in the early 80s, I used to go to something like this, except for there would be dancing competitions and parents would get fiercely competitive about their kids. I admit I won a few prizes… Anyway…
Fortunately for non Londoners based near Manchester, Leeds, and Birmingham, there are tickets available. Why do I live in eager beaver central? It’s £8 for walking humans and free for non walkers. Find out more at Baby Loves Disco.
