Baby Black playsuit

June 30, 2010 by · 3 Comments

Sometimes the best ideas are the simplest ones – a point perfectly proven by Brighton-based company Baby Black which sells just one item, a comfy, stylish, ethical playsuit in one colour… black. Made in India from oh-so-soft 100% organic cotton, the long-sleeved babygros are completely fair trade and retail at £15.99 (p&p is free for the first 100 customers so click, click!). Now while I’m a huge fan of kids’ clothing in primary shades, I love babies in black – Alfie lived in a black Ej Sikke Lej owl babygro when he was a few months old and American Apparel‘s karate pants are a current favourite. Actually, this has inspired me to do a round-up of the best black clothes for little ones *runs off to search favourite online stores* (any excuse).

  1. I’m amazed and bowled over by these lovely comments about my black playsuits. The website only went live a few weeks ago, so this is all pretty new to me. How cool is it to be recommended by such a fab site? Thank you very much, and I hope you’ll like what’s still come in the near future.
    Thanks a million, Jenny
