This is a subject close to my heart as my middle child has suffered with asthma, ezcema and allergies all his life and continues to do so, although his food allergies have improved so we have to be grateful for whatever improvements arise.

One of the difficult things is getting awareness to the people in your lives. My son had bad asthma as a bambino, but still people wanted to buy him soft toys, which unless they were frozen then washed regularly at high temperatures to make sure there were no dust mites or other allergens, they would irritate him.
