Anne-Claire Petit Multi Stripe Monkey

I bought a cheeky Anne-Claire Petit Monkey for ToddlerGeek which is most certainly one of the most popular toys in our house. His wide smiley face and crazy long limbs make him loveable as well as playful. Anne-Claire Petit toys have an undeniable charm and simplicity which has them at the top of my new baby gift list. Anne-Claire Petit toys are handmade in Asia by women who use their traditional handiwork skills to create colourful crochet goods. The work from Anne-Claire Petit allows these women to work from home whilst generating an income for themselves and the community.

Anne-Claire Petit Wide Stripe Monkey

The Multi-Stripe Monkey (above left) is the one ToddlerGeek has. £16.99 from igloo.

The Wide Stripe Monkey is a nice variation on the multi-stripe. £18 from Gift Shop UK.

Anne-Claire Petit Pink Cashmere Monkey
This hot pink monkey is 100% girly girl. To match her delicate appearence she is also a super soft 100% cashmere wool. £35 from Orfeo.

Anne-Claire Petit Organic Cotton & Cashmere Mix Colour Stripes Monkey

Another stripey monkey who is also a soft touch as it is made from a mix of cotton and cashmere. £16 from Number One Gift Shop.

He has a coordinating brother in grey (below left) who is also made from a mix of organic cotton and cashmere. The neutral colours may be welcomed by parents keen to avoid a raft of bright toys.skitched-20080828-104306.jpg

My favourite has to be this plain brown monkey. He is just too cute for words! £16.99 from Windmill Direct.

These are by no means the limit of the Anne-Claire Petit Monkey Anne-Claire Petit Brown Monkeycollection. I once saw one which was cream with coloured spots and if anyone knows where I can get a red one please leave a comment! Anne-Claire Petit has some fabulous toys and you can see our previous posts on them here.
