Waterproof Shoes from Startrite

Both of my children have wide feet and high insteps which means when buying shoes there are few options open to us. In general I opt for Start-rite as they offer the nicest choices and are always great quality. This week Start-rite have launched an innovative range of waterproof shoes called Aqua-rite.

The shoes are made with a unique breathable lining which protects feet from getting wet. They have chunky rubber soles and are the usual high quality leather you find on Start-rite shoes. Personally I love this idea as I have children who can hunt out a puddle from a hundred paces and never manage to have wellies on hand at all times. I think they would be especially good for children at nursery or pre-school as you wouldn’t have to worry when the weather changes half way through the day.

As you would expect they come at a price and start at £45 (approximately 40 – 50% more than standard shoes)
