Even though they don’t go wild on colour or prints, I’m a big fan of Topshop Maternity – I’m still wearing my hooded rider coat which I snaffled in the sale for £25 down from £70. Anyway…. Taking its cue from the main collection and adjusted for a maternity fit, Topshop Maternity is full of stylish pieces and they’re particularly strong on knits, tops, dresses and the thing that will suck up muchos brain power, the winter coat.

Stripes are always popular with maternity wear, but the deliciously nautical striped frill dress with its shirred waist and frill detail front panel is a cool blast of change, £28. I’m also liking the understated chic of the pleat front tunic which will look fabulous with your maternity skinny or bootcut jeans, £18. The devil is in the detail and a hot trend is embellishments like the gold studs on the grey round neck jumper, £38. Check out other pieces in the range which have been given the stud treatment.

Like last year, the military trend is still riding high with the grey military knit coat, £55, and an update on their highly popular double breasted tulip coat, £65. You know Topshop love a bit of 80s throwback, and their Bananarama-esque denim pocket tunic, £40, is hot piece.

The collection is available in size 8-16 although move fast as some sizes are selling out!

I’m loving the military trend jackets that are everywhere again this season. Topshop’s range is great – I brought a few bits very early on in my pregnancy, and still happily wearing them now :)

I’m sure they will introduce more pieces as the military stuff was so popular in their last AW season. The jacket’s a staple now and I think it’s a button update on the previous. I’m a big fan and their sales are excellent too!
