Typographic prints round-up
It’s no secret that I’m a sucker for a bit of typography (I’m a self-confessed word nerd) and I can often be found browsing the web for fontilicious offerings. Here are a few fabulous posters and prints for children’s rooms I’ve uncovered on a recent trawl.
As the weather turns colder my thoughts always turn to sunny summer days, so I’m loving Leo Frames’ Seaside letterpress print, £20, and Two For Joy’s suitably ice cream-coloured mantra, about £20.
Iloveretro’s letterpress prints have educational messages such as ‘It’s Fun to Ride a Bike’, ‘Mind Your Manners’ and ‘Think Before Speaking’, £24.95 each.
Also educational, Patrick Edgeley’s bright green silkscreen print, £45, will help to teach your little ones the days of the week, months of the year and seasons.
For a bit of inspiration in the morning, you could do worse than follow the advice on Hellomarine’s Polaroid giclee print, £25, in sugar pink. And finally, who can argue with the Queen of Country Dolly Parton’s message, beautifully put on recycled paper by artist Sarah Winter, about £30.
