I have plans for the bambino to spending a lot of time in water this summer which means it’s time to buy a swim nappy. There are quite a few on the market and you can also get disposables, but the one I regularly hear good things about are Totsbots SwimTots.
Made by the same peeps that manufacture reusable nappies, SwimTots are pull ups that feature an elasticated waist and legs, and a cotton terry lining for catching poos. They have an ‘aplix fastening’ which in non-jargon speak means velcro and are available in four sizes, 0 through to 3 which basically covers from birth up to 35lbs plus.
They are only available in two colours, pink and blue (a crying shame) although they aren’t jarring shades, but to be fair, I think I can get over that for some poo-less swimming escapades!
