Three Little Trees Autumn Winter 2010

July 27, 2010 by · 1 Comment

The latest collection from Aussie brand Three Little Trees has hit UK shores and is due for release this week. The designs have a dark vibe with a range of new prints of animals, birds and robots which are childlike in their simplicity.

Colours for boys are black, grey, brown and blues and although this seems to be the standard for boys I’m actually really drawn to them, especially the greys. Girls have a softer range of colours with teals, pale grey, pink, blue and muted plum which mixes and matches perfectly. The cuts for boys are fuss free and the trousers especially are a refreshing change from the excess pockets you normally see. Girls have more detailing with button and ruffle trimmed leggings as well as gentle frills and gathers on the tops and dresses. My stand out design is the owl print (pictured below) which has hypnotic eyes and can be found as an all over print on a dress, placement print and as pocket detailing on jeans. Three Little Trees isn’t cutesy and it’s not urban, it is wearable everyday children’s clothing with a cool edge.

Available to pre-order now at Little Sunflowers who expect stock to arrive tomorrow.
