The Very Hungry Caterpillar 40th Anniversary Pop Up Book & DVD
I don’t know who’s the bigger fan of Eric Carle’s ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’ – me or the bambino, as this was one of my favourite books as a child. The 40th anniversary of the release of this book which has sold a whopping 29 million copies means that there have been a couple of new releases plus merchandise to commemorate it, including this fab pop-up edition which brings the story to interactive life. There’s also a DVD that’s been produced by The Illuminated Film Company who are behind ‘The Snowman’ which also includes four other stories and a special anniversary slipcase.
The DVD is released today and it’s £4.98 (RRP £9.99) and the pop-up book is £8.99 (RRP £14.99) and both are available from BG’s Amazon Store.
