the grace coat

Natalie writes…

I spotted this coat today and I want it so badly…even though there is the small problem of me not actually being pregnant! I know it’s summer and I can barely type with my clammy fingers, but this is a good time to be thinking about your future coat because coat lovers get the great ones early.

The Grace Coat by Isabella Oliver is a ‘maternity coat’ that screams Pregnant Style Fiend and it could be worn all the way through your pregnancy, weather permitting. It’s made from soft brushed wool, has three quarter length sleeves, and can be worn open or belted around your bump. Personally, I’d want to belt it for the full effect and you’d have to wear your hair back in a bit of a Audrey Hepburn/Grace Kelly style.

I think it’s a pretty versatile coat that will look great with trousers or a dress/skirt, although I do have my doubts about whether my 5 foot 3 frame could carry off this look. Oh to be tall and pregnant…

Bambino Goodies Hot Find

This is certainly an investment look as it will set you back £240 normally, although Isabella Oliver are currently offering 10% off which makes it £216.

Perfect for: Mum’s that don’t know use the words ‘credit’ and ‘crunch’ together…
