Use Set up is actually pretty straightforward and it wasn’t long before I was weighing myself, doing a balance test (my centre of gravity is slightly to the right) where it also declared that I had the fitness age of a 60 year old!… My favourites are step aerobics, the boxercise, hula hooping (exhausting), the various balance games where I am challenging the boyf and the little bro (they’ve beat me on a few of them), and I’m getting into yoga.

Review: Sniglar Changing Table
May 1st, 2008 · No Comments
I am actually quite excited about being able to buy more Ikea products online (I’ve been wanting to go there for about 6 weeks but haven’t been able to face the thought of chasing my ‘tail’ going around in circles in a crowd) but I am quite disappointed that ‘full’ doesn’t actually mean full if you’re in the childrens department with most things unavailable to add to your shopping basket…. It’s easier if you buy the changing mat from Ikea however, because the bambino seems to be really tall, it’s actually worked in our favour that we had a slightly bigger one from Mothercare which stops her feet from hitting the edge of the table.

Review: Braun 4520 Thermoscan Ear Thermometer

I can’t remember where I originally read up about ear thermometers but on discovering that different types of thermometers give different readings and that the ear was the best spot, I decided to invest in an ear thermometer.

Product review: Mamas and Papas Nipi Lightweight Stroller
January 25th, 2008 · 3 Comments
A couple of months ago we went back to America and we decided to bite the bullet and buy a lightweight stroller/pushchair that you could just chuck in the car and move around easily. I had been warned about ending up buying two pushchairs, something apparently that regularly occurs when you buy these big three [...]

Product review: Beaba Babycook and Blender
January 23rd, 2008 · No Comments
When it was time for me to wean, I decided that as often as possible I wanted to make my baby’s food. As a result, it was essential that I had something simple to take a lot of the legwork out of it, otherwise it wouldn’t have been long before I was beating a path [...]

Product Review: Fisher Price Rainforest Jumperoo
December 28th, 2007 · 1 Comment
The bambino got one of these as a gift from one of her grandmas and she LOVES it! It was as if she couldn’t believe that she could use her feet to bounce excitedly and the only way to describe her little legs and feet bouncing around was that she looked like she was doing [...]

Review: Vital Baby Nappysafe
November 8th, 2007 · No Comments
I recently wrote about how cheesed off I had become with my Tommee Tippee Nappy Wrapper. Stinking to high heaven and lots of faffing around with cassettes made me refuse to use it after just over three months.
I saw the Vital Baby Nappysafe in use at a friends place and when she described how simple [...]

Review: Baby Einstein Discovering Water Activity Mat
November 5th, 2007 · No Comments
When you’re having a baby an activity mat is not included on the baby essentials list but if you can, buy (or be gifted with) a play/activity mat and a bouncing chair and they will be your lifesavers for the first few months when you need to occupy your baby and free up your hands [...]
