The Pushchair Track: UPPAbaby Vista Travel System – HOT!

May 25, 2011 by · 3 Comments

Yesterday I had the pleasure of hanging out at Huggle, a very cool parenting store in Swiss Cottage packed full of design led, super stylish practical buys, toys, and gifts as well as a cafe and classes. While I was there, I finally got a demo of the pushchair that’s taking the US by storm [...]

Kiddopotamus RayShade

July 7, 2008 by · 1 Comment

Kat writes… I went to the zoo on possibly the hottest day of the year. On my way in, I spied a fabulous stroller sun shade and shamelessly chased down the owners to find out where it came from. The Kiddopotamus RayShade provides 50+ Ultraviolet Protection Factor. You can adjust it by pulling it up, [...]

Mothercare’s Pick and Mix Pushchair

May 12, 2008 by · 1 Comment

Take a lightweight pushchair frame £39.99 in a bare basic black and then offer a selection of wrappers to add on to it (£20), either in pink, blue, or green, or the rather jarring multi-coloured option…. I find the multi-coloured wrapper a bit too lairy for my tastes (and you know I love bright) and I think the pushchairs look best when they are literally mixed and matched as opposed to just one colour as shown in the pic.

News: Quinny Buzz 2007 ‘fault’ with straps and seat but it’s not a fault…

April 22, 2008 by · 28 Comments

So I went to the playgroup today and I mentioned in passing that I was thinking of selling my Quinny Buzz because the straps were driving me mad as they seemed very short particularly when the bambino is in winter clothes and it has now got so bad that we can’t use the footmuff. I was shocked when my friend said that she had been to Mothercare recently and she had been advised that there was a “fault” with 2007 models and that she would need to get special extending straps which would be ordered for her free of charge.

Silvercross Sleepover Deluxe

Anyway…I checked out the Silvercross Sleepover Deluxe everyone has been going on about and my first thought was “Well thank God that they’re offering more than a moses basket for over 300 quid!” It’s a travel system comprising of chasis (really don’t understand why these would be sold separately but they are in some stores…), a carrycot to use as pram to also use as a moses basket to also use as a reversible pushchair seat, plus a handmade wooden rocking stand, and a cover for converting it into a moses basket.

Maxi-Cosi Mura Pushchairs

March 5, 2008 by · 2 Comments

I had heard that my favourite manufacturer of carseats were doing their own pushchair but this is the first time I’ve taken a look at it. For me…I think they should stick to car seats…. They’re quite reminiscent of Quinny Buzz’s (it wouldn’t surprise me if they were made by Quinny) but they lack a [...]

Mamas and Papas Skate Pushchair

March 4, 2008 by · 6 Comments

I love the ‘Skate’. Buying a new pushchair is a challenging experience which you end up expending a huge amount of mental energy on as you try to balance buying something practical with something desirable that you love. The Mamas and Papas Skate has integrated the pram and seat into one space saving unit and [...]

Red Castle

February 7, 2008 by · 1 Comment

I thought that I had literally checked out every pushchair possible when I was pregnant, but the Red Castle Sports offerings certainly slipped under my radar. Red Castle is a French company based in Provence and is the outdoor brand chosen by active parents. That in itself probably explains how I missed it as I [...]

Cosatto Diablo 5. Maclaren Lulu Guiness Only the Trenton Deluxe is a travel system with the rest being strollers. Check out the [...]

Product review: Mamas and Papas Nipi Lightweight Stroller

January 25, 2008 by · 3 Comments

A couple of months ago, we went back to America and we decided to bite the bullet and buy a lightweight stroller/pushchair that you could just chuck in the car and move around easily. I had been warned about ending up buying two pushchairs, something apparently that regularly occurs when you buy these big three [...]

Quinny Buzz 4 Pushchair 2008

January 18, 2008 by · 2 Comments

This is the latest incarnation of the Quinny Buzz which to my eyes looks like a 2007 model…but with four wheels. I haven’t had the opportunity to try it out yet but it will be interesting to see if it actually feels different to the 3-wheeled version. The RRP is £370 and it’s available at [...]

The Bugaboo Bee

January 16, 2008 by · 3 Comments

Part of the reason why I didn’t buy a Bugaboo was because I found them a bit awkward, but if the description and the look of the Bugaboo Bee is anything to go by, I may be tempted into one. I own my beloved Quinny Buzz but ever since I bought a lightweight stroller (The [...]

Elodie Details Stroller Bags

November 28, 2007 by · 1 Comment

I was only thinking the other day how lovely it would be to have a more exciting footmuff/stroller bag for my pushchair so when I saw these I was very excited. Would I pay £84 whopping 99 for it? Hmmm, I don’t know but if someone was feeling very generous in their Christmas gifting, I [...]

Stokke Xplory

November 12, 2007 by · 1 Comment

I have been a fan of the Stokke Xplory ever since they came out but I must admit that I believed that my love of it was focused around it’s futuristic appearance. Then I went to the Baby Show at Earls Court and got a full demonstration and fell in love with it all over [...]

Wedge Stroller Bag for Quinny Buzz

October 26, 2007 by · Leave a Comment

I am the proud owner of a Quinny Buzz but the storage will always be a bit of an issue if you just rely on the basket that hangs underneath. Whilst I was at the Baby Show at Earls Court, I bumped into the owner of Buggy Baskets who has created a range of bags [...]
